Consumer Credit Counseling Service offers community education from its Medford location and in the community. The Agency has a Education Director and conducts over 200 educational programs a year. Most of the programs are at no or low cost and are sponsored by local foundations and corporations.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. The NFCC has recently launched a financial on-line assessment tool, MyMoneyCheckUp. You can receive financial tips and learn where you might make changes in your financial plan. Yes. Our Budgeting Made Easy class is one of our most popular classes. The hour and a half class gives you an in-depth look at creating a personal budget with emphasis on setting your financial goals, reducing your wasteful spending and organizing your money. Do you have a class about credit reports and how to rebuild a poor credit score?
Yes. In our class Understanding Your Credit Report-Score & More you will learn how to get your free credit reports and scores, read your report, correct errors and improve your credit score. You will learn how to get your credit in good order and be able to reduce the cost of your next house, car and even your monthly insurance in our class. I would like to buy a home. Can you tell me the steps I need to take?
Yes. The 10 Steps to Homeownership breaks the process of purchasing a home into ten easy-to-follow steps. Reviewing your finances, improving your credit, shopping for the best home loan, working with a real estate agent, and avoiding predatory loan practices are all covered in this fast moving class. The fee is $10 and classes are as follows:

This class gives you information about how to find out who is your loan servicer, how much you owe, the status of your loan(s), options for repayment, what to do if your servicer will not work with you, and how to work student loans into your budget.
